Also to see are the Akash-Ganga waterfalls about 5 km away from Malinithan where people go to take a bath to wash away their sins. The languages spoken here are Hindi, Assamese and English.

Malinithan include among others the ruins of Durga Temple. At the time of quarry in the beginning of 20th century, relics of stone images of Malinithan were found. In due course of excavation between 1968 and 1971, further ruins of temples and valuable scriptures were unearthed at this site. The temple of Malinithan is dedicated to Goddess Durga and it is built keeping the classical style of Orissa as a model. The popularity of Malinithan as a holy place of worship brings a large number of tourists as well as pilgrims.
